So that the little ones succeed big time - Young children's tennis (ages 3-6)
The youngest start on the small court. The rackets are shorter here, and the balls are bigger and 75 percent slower than regular tennis balls. All necessary materials - including the rackets - are provided free of charge.
In children's tennis, the ultimate goal is to empower the children to play tennis with each other independently (without the trainer) as quickly as possible. For this, no complex movements are necessary, but only short ball touches, the so-called main action. To these short movements, more and more strokes are gradually added, above all forehand and backhand, but also volleys and the serve (from above the head), which we teach from the beginning. The focus of the children's training is on
1.a broad motoric training
2.an introduction to jumping, throwing, running and the anticipation and perception of the balls' flight curves
3.an introduction to basic tennis techniques, especially the forehand and the backhand, but also the other strokes
